Director, animator, designer, and animation and cinema researcher.
Lecturer in Experimental Animation at Sapir Academic College, Minshar School of Art, and "Wild Kids" Animation Studio.
From 2001 to 2004, I initiated, founded, and managed the Animation Department at Sapir Academic College.
Between 2002 and 2011, I served as the in-house designer for Sapir College and the Cinema South International Film Festival.
I hold a B.Des. in Visual Communication from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, and an M.A. in Film Production and Theory from Sapir Academic College. My ongoing thesis research is conducted at the University of Haifa, exploring the affinity between memory and imagination in experimental animation, through which I am developing the novel concept of "Anima Verité".
I specialize in experimental animation—incorporating objects, sand, mixed media, and diverse techniques and artistic languages.
I create experimental films, animated documentaries, promotional videos, music videos, opening sequences, and commercials using a wide range of methods, software, and materials.
My films have been screened at acclaimed national and international film festivals.
I perform high-end, live sand animation showcases at prestigious venues and events, including the Israeli Knesset, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, the Israel Museum, the IDF Headquarters (The Kirya), Rabin Square, and the Israel Antiquities Authority.
I regularly collaborate with leading production companies, including Rosh Chutzot, Jacky Bechar Productions, Ullman Films, Ran Zachor, and Uri Goldstein.
As an illustrator, I specialize in sand painting, collage, assemblage, and mixed media.
I am the director of KALEBOON, a studio for directing, design, and animation, where I design advertising campaigns for various cultural sectors, including festivals, films, exhibitions, and live performances.
